Yes, surprisingly many of male celebrities do take care of their nails. Shall we say that  today’s urban males really do want to feel & look their best and recently, we were invited to a very special “men only” treatment; putting the MAN in manicure!

Introducing LOUNGE by The Color Palette is a new concept beauty, fashion & lifestyle space for both men & women, which was launched just recently in May 2012 at CHIJMES. LOUNGE is not just another unisex luxury nail salon that offers cutting-edge nail treatments, but also a space for various interesting workshops & events which they plan to organise for their customers at regular intervals.

We were invited to join LOUNGE’s Men’s Day Out where we were treated to a luxurious manicure and indulged in a specially concocted cocktail for the event by renowned mixologists, The Epic Bar team. We totally dig the idea that LOUNGE is somewhat discreetly located right smack in CHIJMES than in the hustle & bustle of a shopping mall.

LOUNGE also do brings in products that are sourced from around the world as part of its quarterly showcase. From June to August 2012, LOUNGE is proud to present eco-friendly bags made from recycled candy wrappers, from Mexico. These were individually hand-made by Mexican-artisans and each bag is unique as it is hand-crafted & depends on the availability of the candy wrappers.

LOUNGE is a cosy chill-out destination bar/lounge for men & women and is available for private event’s booking such as for Birthday parties, Bachelor or Bachelorette Nights, dating events and much more. Rental fees are chargeable at an affordable $200/hour, and a block of 4 hours is available for bookings at a promotional price of only $500 from now till September 2012. So hurry and start surprising your friends with food, drinks and luxurious nail treatments!
